MICAH TODAY
With the Lord’s provision and your faithful prayers and support, Micah has grown over the years and we are seeing more lives transformed than…

we ever thought possible!

Over 25 years since our founding, we are now a multi-faceted ministry with a clear mission: to disciple, equip, and launch young men into healthy, independent lives rooted in Christ.

Today, the Micah Project continues to be a place of freedom, family, and a future in Christ for young men who have lived through unimaginable hardship. From our beautiful campus next to the Villa Linda Miller community, God is still writing redemptive stories, each one a testament to His love, healing, and power to transform.

Over 25 years since our founding, we are now a multi-faceted ministry with a clear mission: to disciple, equip, and launch young men into healthy, independent lives rooted in Christ. What began as a single group home has grown into a holistic ministry, anchored by the Micah House on our main property and the Timothy House for our older boys. Surrounding these are educational and vocational programs that meet each boy where he is and walk with him as he becomes who God created him to be.

At the heart of Micah Today are our core programs:

  • The Micah House offers a safe and nurturing home for boys who have come directly from the streets. Here, they begin the healing process in community, receiving care, mental health counseling, education, and Christ-centered discipleship.

  • The Timothy House supports our older boys who have graduated from high school or are preparing for independent living, with mentoring, structure, and continuing education.

  • Micah Works offers hands-on vocational training in trades like welding, carpentry, culinary arts, and more. It's designed to give our young men practical skills, work ethic, and confidence for the future.

  • Micah Works Academy and our on-campus education program provide life skills, tutoring, and schooling tailored to meet the needs of boys who often arrive far behind their grade level.

  • Through our Navigator program, each boy is paired with a personal mentor who walks with him daily, offering guidance, accountability, and hope.

  • And through our street outreach, we continue to serve youth who are still living on the streets of Tegucigalpa, because that’s where the Micah story began, and it’s still where God calls us to show up.

At every level, we remain rooted in our founding call: to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God. Our staff, many of whom have been with Micah for years, pour their lives into this work. And many of our alumni, now grown and thriving, are returning to mentor the next generation.

This is Micah Today. A place of restoration. A place of launching. A place where God’s love meets boys in their brokenness and leads them toward flourishing.
