Isaiah House

The Isaiah House is now closed. We are preparing to launch Micah Works.

This initiative of The Micah Project, which started in 2015 and was spearheaded by our missionary Stephen Kusmer, was a repurposing of the previous Micah House to minister to the street population of young men who are too old for any other programs, typically 17 to 22 years old.

For the first planning year it served as a day facility for six of those young men.  On August 9th 2015, a full residential program was launched, which included drug rehabilitation, job-training, and intense discipleship.   The theme verse of the Isaiah House is Isaiah 43:19, which states, “Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?  I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”

Due to various factors, the Isaiah House was closed in May 2021 as we transition into a new format for helping this older population of street youth through our newest ministry initiative: Micah Works.

Isaiah House Inauguration: August 9, 2015
